About the Role
The BIM Content Developer will support the multi-disciplinary design team for various infrastructure projects including Aviation, Transit, rail, road, highways, Ports, and Harbours. This role focuses on creating and maintaining a standardized library of BIM content to ensure efficient and consistent modeling across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop, manage, and maintain the project’s BIM content library including Revit templates, shared parameters, adaptive parametric families, catalogues, and part lists.
- →Define and document the BIM content development roadmap, including process workflows and protocols.
- →Provide regular progress updates and reporting to the management team on BIM content strategy.
- →Offer technical support and training to design and modeling teams on BIM content standards.
- →Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and refinement of BIM content to align with project needs.
- →Develop discipline-specific BIM content in alignment with specifications and standards.
- →Continuously advance the BIM content library to support evolving project needs.
- →Optimize all BIM content for model performance and coordination efficiency.
- →Collaborate with the Design and Engineering Program Lead to implement and update the BIM Execution Plan.
- →Conduct quality assurance reviews of models and drawings to ensure accurate usage of approved content.
Requirements
- ✓Experience with BIM content development and management.
- ✓Proficiency in Revit and Civil 3D.
- ✓Knowledge of MEP content development.
- ✓Understanding of project standards and specifications.
- ✓Ability to define and document development roadmaps and workflows.
- ✓Strong technical support and training skills.
- ✓Experience with quality assurance reviews.
