About the Role
Elastic, the Search AI company, is seeking a New Business Mid Market Account Executive to work in the Mittelstand area. This role is critical to our growth in EMEA Central, focusing on building pipeline, telling the Elastic Search AI story, and closing complex deals.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own territory and build pipeline: Develop and execute proactive outbound cadence generating ≥50% of booked opportunities.
- →Deep discovery and qualification: Uncover pain, business impact, budget, and decision criteria using frameworks like MEDDPICC.
- →Value storytelling and demos: Craft and deliver tailored narratives and live demos mapping Elastic’s capabilities to business outcomes.
- →Mutual deal strategy and forecast accuracy: Collaborate with customers to build close plans and maintain ≥90% forecast accuracy.
- →Executive negotiation and closing: Lead high-stakes contract and pricing discussions.
- →Domain and cloud acumen: Speak fluently about cloud economics, usage-based pricing, and modern data architectures.
- →Cross-functional partnership: Work with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to accelerate deals.
Requirements
- ✓Proven track record in managing and opening new accounts, consistently overachieving targets in a consumption-based environment.
- ✓Good understanding of the German Mittelstand.
- ✓Expert discovery and qualification skills: Demonstrated ability to apply MEDDPICC or equivalent frameworks.
- ✓Compelling value storytellers: Track record of delivering executive-level presentations and demos.
- ✓Strong negotiation skills: History of creating new logos.
- ✓Technical and cloud fluency: Comfortable discussing observability, security, vector/traditional search, and cloud cost optimization.
- ✓Collaborative mindset and coachability: A learner who partners effectively with internal teams and embodies Elastic’s values.
- ✓Native German speaker.
