About the Role
We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer - SIEM to join our team in Singapore. This role involves hands-on SIEM implementation and threat detection engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- →Implement SIEM solutions using Elastic/ELK Stack, Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel
- →Design SIEM architecture, onboard logs, create correlation rules, and develop dashboards
- →Develop detection rules, custom queries, and optimize log pipelines
- →Integrate log sources from firewalls, endpoints, servers, Active Directory, cloud platforms, and security tools
- →Align threat detection with MITRE ATT&CK frameworks and optimize rules
- →Roll out security solutions from POC to full deployment
- →Manage security incidents including zero-day threats and misconfigurations
- →Integrate cloud logs (AWS/Azure) into SIEM platforms
- →Troubleshoot and integrate logs using scripting skills
Requirements
- ✓Strong hands-on experience with SIEM implementation
- ✓Experience with Elastic/ELK Stack, Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel
- ✓Knowledge of architecture design, log onboarding, parsing, and index management
- ✓Ability to create correlation rules, dashboards, and tune SIEM systems
- ✓Experience with detection rule development and custom queries
- ✓Familiarity with log source integration across various systems
- ✓Understanding of threat detection frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK
- ✓Experience with security solution rollout and UAT execution
- ✓Ability to manage security incidents and perform root cause analysis
- ✓Strong networking fundamentals and Unix/Linux knowledge
- ✓Scripting skills in regex, shell, and PowerShell
- ✓Certifications in Elastic/SIEM preferred
- ✓Self-driven with strong stakeholder collaboration skills
