About the Role
Join Esri's Network Diagram team as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and contribute to the development of advanced network visualization software within the ArcGIS platform. You will own the delivery of complex features and services, influencing key architectural decisions across multiple components.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with Product Engineers to establish test plans and prioritize manual tests
- →Create tests for functional, performance, scalability, and durability testing
- →Design and develop automated regression test cases through the API
- →Deploy and schedule tests to run daily and share results
- →Manage and refactor regression tests and results dashboards
- →Perform rigorous peer reviews of test code
- →Measure test coverage and analyze regression test results
- →Conduct framework-level troubleshooting and analyze test failures
- →Define, implement, and document automated test frameworks
- →Advocate for quality throughout the software development process
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience with programming proficiency in C#
- ✓Deep understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- ✓Applied expertise in testing principles and complex test strategies
- ✓Proven experience with test automation frameworks
- ✓Hands-on knowledge of deployment and CI/CD tools
- ✓Strong developer sensibilities in software design and refactoring
- ✓Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, GIS, or related field
