About the Role
We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer specializing in WAF to join our team. This role focuses on implementing and managing F5 WAF solutions to protect web applications from threats.
Key Responsibilities
- →Implement F5 WAF policies including creation, tuning, and optimization
- →Handle WAF engineering tasks beyond monitoring
- →Harden application security using OWASP Top 10 knowledge
- →Manage end-to-end deployment from POC to production
- →Handle incident response for web-based threats
- →Analyze network traffic and configure SSL/TLS
Requirements
- ✓Strong hands-on experience with F5 WAF (ASM / Advanced WAF)
- ✓Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, bot protection, and API protection
- ✓Experience with SSL offloading, LTM integration, and reverse proxy architecture
- ✓Strong networking knowledge (L3/L4/L7), load balancing, and traffic flow analysis
- ✓Unix/Linux knowledge and basic scripting skills
- ✓F5 certifications (101/201/301/401) preferred
- ✓Self-driven with strong stakeholder collaboration skills
