About the Role
We are looking for a Java Application Developer to join our team in Singapore. This role focuses on Java-based backend application development using Spring Boot, supporting business feature development, maintenance, and change requests.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop enterprise backend applications using Java
- →Create RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot
- →Deploy and support Java applications in Red Hat Linux environments
- →Design MySQL database schemas and optimize queries
- →Implement CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Jira
- →Write technical specifications, design documents, and unit test plans
- →Participate in SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities
- →Troubleshoot pre-production and post-production issues
Requirements
- ✓Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise backend applications using Java
- ✓Experience with Spring Boot framework for RESTful APIs, microservices, dependency injection, security configuration, and transaction management
- ✓Experience deploying and supporting Java applications in Red Hat Linux environments
- ✓Knowledge of MySQL database schema design, query optimization, and transactional data handling
- ✓Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Jira
- ✓Experience writing technical specifications, design documents, and unit test plans
- ✓Ability to participate in SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities
- ✓Ability to troubleshoot pre-production and post-production issues
- ✓Understanding of online transaction flows, authorization lifecycle, and reconciliation processes (advantage)
- ✓Basic understanding of encryption, hashing, and secure communication protocols (advantage)
- ✓Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
