About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to drive data initiatives from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead end-to-end data platform and data warehousing initiatives
- →Act as a hands-on technical lead in design, development, and optimization of data solutions
- →Design and implement data models aligned with business requirements
- →Build and maintain cloud-based data solutions using AWS and Snowflake
- →Develop and optimize SQL and Python pipelines for data ingestion and analytics
- →Collaborate with business teams and IT to translate needs into technical solutions
- →Guide and mentor data engineers on best practices
- →Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance standards
- →Identify opportunities for process improvements and architectural enhancements
- →Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to data strategy
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing
- ✓Strong Data & Cloud background with hands-on experience in Azure
- ✓Extensive experience with Snowflake (architecture, performance tuning, cost optimization)
- ✓Strong experience in SQL and Python
- ✓Solid experience in Data Modeling, including Data Vault
- ✓Proven experience leading or acting as a technical lead on data projects
- ✓Strong understanding of modern data warehousing concepts
- ✓Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- ✓Ability to work between IT and business teams
- ✓Proactive, self-driven, and a quick learner
