About the Role
Encora is seeking a QA Engineer to join their team in Perú. This role involves designing, executing, and documenting test cases to ensure the quality of applications while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Analyze, design, execute, and document test cases.
- →Perform functional testing using white-box and black-box approaches.
- →Validate requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
- →Participate in agile processes (Scrum) and collaborate with development teams.
- →Manage issues and reports in Jira.
- →Use Gherkin language for defining scenarios.
- →Handle repositories in Bitbucket and version control with Git.
- →Execute SQL queries for data validation.
Requirements
- ✓Graduates in systems, development, or related fields with over 3 years of experience in QA/Software Quality Testing.
- ✓Solid knowledge of ISTQB (certification is a plus).
- ✓Basic knowledge of automation and coding concepts.
- ✓Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, and Git.
- ✓Proficiency in Gherkin language for BDD testing.
- ✓Experience in functional testing and agile methodologies.
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- ✓Knowledge of SQL (basic statements).
- ✓Plus: experience with AS400.
Additional Requirements
- ✓Familiarity with automation tools and CI/CD processes.
- ✓Knowledge of testing frameworks and QA best practices.
