About the Role
You will work closely with the CTO to develop the technical strategy and deliver critical features for a multi-tenant property management platform. This role requires 7+ years of experience in enterprise software development and a focus on building scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop the foundational application and API for a property management platform
- →Lead technical strategy and deliver critical features for Phase 1 and beyond
- →Recruit and work with engineering and product teams
- →Collaborate with RET’s LPs, portfolio companies, and future customers
- →Design and implement PostgreSQL schema with zero-downtime deployments
- →Write SQL queries for data analysis and reconciliation
- →Design APIs for both external developers and internal operators
- →Implement financial ledger accuracy and charge posting rules
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- ✓Experience shipping enterprise software at scale
- ✓Strong understanding of database design and PostgreSQL
- ✓Expert-level JavaScript/TypeScript, React and Node.js
- ✓Design-first thinking with focus on quality and user experience
- ✓Data-First Thinking with knowledge of Postgres and other data stores
- ✓Agentic-First Development experience with tools like Claude Code or Cursor
- ✓Strong written communication skills
- ✓Direct feedback tolerance
- ✓Ownership mentality
