About the Role
Ensono is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our Automation Engineering team. You will work on producing mission-critical platforms, tools, and processes to ensure the highest levels of availability and reliability of our applications.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop automation code for provisioning and operating infrastructure at massive scale
- →Work with development teams to ensure applications are production ready, scalable, and reliable
- →Develop code to integrate automations with ticketing tools like ServiceNow
- →Integrate multiple tools and platforms using APIs (REST, SOAP) and command lines
- →Identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for code deployment, management, and visibility
- →Develop CI/CD pipelines for code testing automation and deployment
- →Develop tools and frameworks to automate operational tasks, deployment of machines, services, and applications
- →Perform root cause analysis of critical business and production issues
- →Develop and mentor other Automation Engineers on standard methodologies
- →Review and test code for automations developed by peers
Requirements
- ✓Expertise in developing automations with frameworks like Ansible and Terraform
- ✓Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure engineering
- ✓Strong knowledge in Linux/Windows and Network
- ✓Proficiency in writing code with programming/scripting languages like Python and shell scripting
- ✓Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and source control management tools like GitHub and Bitbucket
- ✓Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- ✓Strong fundamentals in HTTP including HTTP headers and web servers
- ✓Experience in writing code involving multiple tools and platforms
