About the Role
Ensono is seeking a Java C# Modernization Developer to join their team of experts responsible for delivering quality products to clients on schedule. This role involves migrating legacy applications to modern platforms like Java Spring and C# .NET using automated tools.
Key Responsibilities
- →Apply Java or C# coding skills in a Visual Studio modernization environment
- →Develop Java or C# libraries for modernized environments
- →Set up testing to ensure modernized programs function correctly
- →Analyze problems found during testing and apply code corrections and improvements
- →Coordinate solutions with the team while identifying and implementing process improvements to boost productivity
- →Provide consultation and teachable moments to more junior members of the team
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of coding experience in Java or C#
- ✓Experience in software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
- ✓Problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- ✓Experience with object-oriented programming in Java or C#, or similar languages
- ✓Familiarity with Eclipse or Visual Studio
- ✓Experience with Java or .NET
- ✓Knowledge of relational databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle)
- ✓Ability to mentor junior colleagues on the team
- ✓Undergraduate/Post Graduate degree, coding boot camp certification, or equivalent experience
- ✓Familiarity with legacy languages or databases - Mainframe, IDEAL, COBOL, CICS, JCL, Datacom, DB2
