About the Role
We are looking for a Cross Platform Mapping Developer to join Esri in developing leading-edge cross-platform mapping and GIS solutions for mobile devices. This role involves designing and developing the next-generation of app building technology.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and develop focused native apps for a broad range of users
- →Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces for mobile, desktop, and web systems
- →Design and develop cross-platform app building technology
- →Work in an Agile team building feature-rich applications using C# .NET
- →Develop software for field mapping, data collection, sensor networks, and street navigation
- →Collaborate with other programmers throughout the development process
- →Define user requirements and design applications and APIs for devices and web services
- →Ensure ArcGIS software meets real-world usage scenarios
- →Solve complex problems with application design, development, and user experiences
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of commercial software development experience
- ✓Fluent in and passionate about .NET C#
- ✓Xamarin / Xamarin Forms / MAUI / C# development experience
- ✓Experience with JSON, XAML/XML, and Web Services
- ✓Strong user experience and interface design skills
- ✓Cross-platform app development experience
- ✓Understanding of algorithms and design patterns
- ✓Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and Microsoft App Center
- ✓Ability to work closely with teams in a constantly evolving environment
- ✓Effective time management and organizational skills
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related field
- ✓Existing work authorization for Australia
