About the Role

Esri’s Professional Services is seeking a full stack developer with a front-end focus to contribute to a suite of innovative GIS software products. This role involves crafting intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that clarify complex spatial and real-time data.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, develop, and maintain responsive user interfaces using frameworks like React and other JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
→Create clear, interactive visualizations and intuitive UI components that support data-driven decision-making
→Collaborate across the stack to define efficient APIs and data models
→Write clean, modular, and maintainable code, and participate in peer reviews
→Partner with UX designers and product engineers to implement user-centric features
→Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to iterative development cycles
→Work closely with product engineers to identify and resolve software issues
→Mentor junior front-end developers and stay current with emerging technologies

Requirements

✓5+ years of experience in software development, with an emphasis on front-end engineering
✓Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with extensive experience in frameworks such as React
✓Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design techniques
✓Proven experience with common design patterns and front-end architecture principles
✓Proficient in SQL query syntax and interacting with common RDBMS systems
✓Experience with Git and Agile methodologies
✓Strong problem-solving and communication skills
✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field
