About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team at Eurofins Viracor BioPharma Services. This role involves designing, developing, configuring, and supporting computer software applications.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage designated technology application portfolio from configuration, maintenance, and monitoring
- →Provide analysis, architectural design, and leadership on small to large complexity projects
- →Work within defined IT processes and procedures including the company’s internal software development life cycle methodology (SDLC)
- →Serve as liaisons between technical and business departments to ensure all requirements and targets are met
- →Work under close to moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment
- →Consult with senior peers on non-complex to large complexity projects
- →Apply basic to proficient application management and administration skills
- →Represent department and the organization favorably and in accordance with established Company standards
- →Participate in 24x7 On Call rotation supporting break/fix ticket resolution
- →Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent experience and training
- ✓Analytical, motivated, and ability to learn new technologies and applications
- ✓Ability to multi-task
- ✓Knowledge and management of System Development Lifecycle Methodologies a plus
- ✓Goal oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills
- ✓Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively and work efficiently with people at all levels in an organization
- ✓Ability to communicate clearly and fluently in English (written and spoken)
- ✓Keenly attentive to detail
- ✓Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
- ✓Up to 3 years of successful full-stack development with C#/asp.net or equivalent UI development
- ✓SQL Server
- ✓Leading projects, developing and administrating Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS): STARLiMS, Outreach
- ✓Leading projects, developing and administrating Specimen Management Systems
- ✓Leading projects, developing and administrating Lab Instrument Interfaces connecting instruments to LIMS
- ✓Working knowledge of HL7 standard and coding
- ✓Knowledge of testing laboratory operations and processes a plus

- ✓High level of proficiency with PC based software programs
- ✓Experience using and applying System Development Lifecycle Methodologies
- ✓Proven experience leading tasks or projects related to medium to large size software implementations
- ✓Minimum of 3 to 7 years of successful full-stack development with C#/asp.net or equivalent UI development
- ✓7+ years of successful application & system development and management; database experience utilizing the .NET
- ✓Proven experience leading tasks or projects related to large size software implementations
