Key Responsibilities
- →Lead team, schedule, and train employees
- →Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
- →Ensure coverage and performance
- →Foster morale and teamwork
- →Assist the Business Unit Manager in managing daily operations of the microbiology laboratory
- →Troubleshoot equipment/instruments and perform minor repairs
- →Maintain a neat and accurate record system
- →Review and evaluate test data for technical accuracy
- →Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions
- →Create and review reports
- →Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions
- →Train technical staff on test methods and procedures
- →Review personnel performance annually
- →Adhere to company health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements
- ✓Experience in laboratory management
- ✓Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements
- ✓Ability to lead and train employees
- ✓Strong understanding of microbiology laboratory operations
- ✓Experience with equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
- ✓Proficiency in record-keeping and data analysis
- ✓Familiarity with ISO requirements
