About the Role
We are looking for an intern to learn sample accession tasks in a laboratory environment. This role involves handling various types of samples and learning to use laboratory information systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Learn sample accession tasks including opening, entering, tracking, labeling, and disposition of samples
- →Coordinate with Client Service Coordinators to establish or update customer service procedures
- →Communicate discrepancies to appropriate personnel and assist with problem solving
- →Handle internal customer inquiries, solve problems with assistance, and contact internal clients for clarification
- →Learn to use LabWare Laboratory Information System (NIMS) in daily duties
