About the Role
The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing clients' projects through all phases of laboratory operations. This role fosters and develops client relationships in support of the laboratory mission.
Key Responsibilities
- βCoordinate and manage clientsβ projects through all phases of laboratory operations
- βSet up and maintain projects, including project documentation and client accounts
- βCommunicate analytical issues and provide updates to operations
- βManage purchase orders, task orders, contracts, and change order requests
- βCreate bottle orders and schedule couriers or field samplers as needed
- βReview and issue final reports and data packages
- βHandle invoicing, including credit/debit memos and follow-up calls
- βTake new quote requests and review client contract requirements
- βFollow up on client terms and credit limits
- βProvide technical support and communicate client issues/complaints
Requirements
- βExperience in project management within laboratory operations
- βStrong understanding of laboratory processes and procedures
- βFamiliarity with state and national program requirements
- βExcellent communication and client relationship skills
- βAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- βProficiency in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
- βKnowledge of laboratory compound lists, limits, and certifications
- βExperience with reporting and invoicing processes
- βAbility to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with additional hours as needed
