About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on AI/ML Product Builder to join Extreme Networks and work on designing and delivering the next generation of intelligence agents for self-driving networks.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with cross-functional teams to define and build AI/ML-powered agents that improve network reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- →Own the end-to-end lifecycle for intelligence capabilities from discovery to iteration.
- →Use AI tools to prototype agent behaviors, automations, evaluators, and UX interactions.
- →Work with engineering to design and ship agentic systems that perform multi-step reasoning and take actions.
- →Translate raw telemetry and signals into clear models, insights, and agent behaviors.
- →Define agent policies, triggers, safety boundaries, and success criteria.
- →Collaborate with design to create trustworthy AI/ML experiences for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- →Partner with AI/ML engineers to optimize model performance and decision accuracy.
- →Build feedback loops and evaluation systems to continuously improve agents.
- →Ensure all intelligence features meet enterprise-grade safety and privacy constraints.
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience building and shipping AI/ML features or agents.
- ✓Quick learner with a builder’s mindset able to ramp on new concepts and turn ambiguity into prototypes.
- ✓Skilled at using AI tools like vibe coding, RAG frameworks, and agent orchestration.
- ✓Ability to read/write lightweight code in Python with AI assistance.
- ✓Strong product instincts for simplifying complex technical domains.
- ✓Familiarity with LLM orchestration, retrieval pipelines, and cost/latency trade-offs.
- ✓Understanding of agentic patterns is a plus.
- ✓Experience working with telemetry, logs, and event streams.
- ✓Excellent async communication skills.
- ✓Experience in networking and/or security is a plus.
- ✓Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

- ✓5+ years in product management or PM/technical hybrid roles.
- ✓2+ years building and shipping AI/ML solutions or agents end-to-end.
- ✓Portfolio or examples demonstrating AI/ML features shipped to production, rapid prototyping, evaluation of model quality, and strong product thinking.
