About the Role
We are looking for a Product Owner to lead delivery execution for complex, high-impact initiatives within the New Ventures team at FanDuel, focusing on FanDuel Predicts, our prediction markets product. This role combines hands-on product delivery leadership with people management and plays a critical role in scaling execution quality as Predicts grows.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the delivery of large, complex, and highly strategic initiatives across multiple areas of the product suite
- →Operate with a high degree of independence, proactively identifying delivery risks, dependencies, and barriers
- →Ensure product requirements are well-defined and implementation-ready
- →Act as a people manager for Product Owners, providing coaching and development support
- →Provide clear, effective updates to stakeholders and leadership
- →Demonstrate strong self-awareness and situational awareness
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or delivery-focused technical roles
- ✓Proven experience owning and delivering large, complex initiatives
- ✓Strong technical depth within the domain
- ✓Demonstrated ability to keep the customer perspective central to delivery decisions
- ✓Experience developing and scaling Product Owner practices and standards
- ✓Strong experience working in Agile environments
- ✓Experience managing, coaching, or mentoring Product Owners
- ✓High proficiency in defining and refining user stories and acceptance criteria
