About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Data Architect to join our Data Architecture team. This role involves designing complex data solutions, driving adherence to standards and policies, and creating architecture documentation for the data engineering team. The position will focus on Customer 360 initiatives and work across various data verticals.

Key Responsibilities

→Partner with the Data Architecture team to lead the development and execution of the data architecture roadmap
→Lead and contribute to Customer 360 modeling efforts by integrating diverse customer data sources
→Define data models, standards, and governance policies to ensure consistent and high-quality data
→Design data products using Databricks as the primary data warehouse solution and dbt for data modeling
→Identify and evaluate emerging technologies in data management and analytics
→Design and implement scalable data pipelines and data platforms
→Translate business requirements into technical solutions
→Oversee the performance and optimization of data systems
→Foster a collaborative environment within the data engineering team
→Communicate the value and impact of data architecture to stakeholders

Requirements

✓7+ years’ experience in database management, dimensional modeling, IT systems, and Big Data & AI/ML engineering
✓Experience in Data Warehousing, Customer 360 modeling, Streaming, and Big Data, AI/ML engineering
✓Proficiency in using Databricks and dbt
✓Experience leading large-scale database, ETL/ELT deployment, and AI/ML projects
✓Experience with data migration techniques and process planning
✓AWS Certification such as AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Big Data
✓Strong experience in data security/compliance
✓Strong problem-solving skills
✓Ability to influence multiple teams and levels of leadership
✓Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
✓Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills
✓Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
