About the Role
Fieldguide is seeking a Director, Talent Acquisition to own and scale a global recruiting function supporting rapid, high-quality growth. This strategic and hands-on role will partner with executive leadership to design scalable hiring systems and employer brand, and develop a team capable of hiring exceptional talent in competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities
- βBuild, coach, and lead a high-performing, globally distributed talent acquisition team
- βEvolve metrics and reporting with live dashboards for team performance
- βCreate a culture of ownership, accountability, and data-driven improvement
- βBuild and scale a compelling employer brand to attract top talent
- βPartner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and align recruiting strategy
- βTranslate company goals into actionable hiring plans
- βAct as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and executives
- βCollaborate with People Operations and Finance on headcount planning
- βDesign global hiring models for diverse markets
- βEnsure consistent, inclusive candidate experience worldwide
- βTrack meaningful recruiting metrics to assess performance
- βImprove recruiting processes, tools, and systems
- βStay current on market trends in technical and AI talent areas
Requirements
- β10+ years of talent acquisition experience, including 5+ years leading teams at high-growth AI or SaaS startups
- βExperience scaling organizations from 150 to 500+ employees
- βAbility to influence founders, executives, and senior leaders
- βSuccess designing and executing global recruiting strategies
- βExperience building and retaining high-performing talent acquisition teams
- βStrong background in building scalable recruiting processes and systems
- βExperience hiring in competitive geographic markets
- βExperience building employer branding initiatives
- βExperience supporting international expansion
