About the Role

FL108 Inc. is seeking a dedicated Scientist, Protein Sciences to join their team. This role will focus on protein conjugation and production, contributing to the development of groundbreaking protein-based delivery modalities.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead and manage projects focused on protein conjugation, production, and purification
→Design and optimize protein conjugation strategies for various molecules including antibodies, peptides, and oligonucleotides
→Establish in-house conjugation, purification, and characterization capabilities
→Collaborate with the biology team to design controlled experiments and align on handoffs and required materials
→Establish and manage CRO relationships to support protein-conjugates and linker production
→Stay current with the latest scientific advancements and integrate new techniques into the research workflow

Requirements

✓Scientific training (Ph.D. or industry experience) in chemistry, biochemistry, protein sciences, antibody engineering, or related field
✓Prior industry experience with bioconjugation is a must, with a preference for antibody bioconjugation
✓Experience with protein purification techniques and characterization methods is essential
✓Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
