About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Product Data Analyst to join our team at Jellyfish and help mature the Analytics function. This role involves working closely with stakeholders across the organization to provide insights and data products that drive data-informed decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- →Facilitate data-informed decision-making across product and engineering teams
- →Partner with product & engineering teams to understand business problems and own the full lifecycle of data-driven solutions
- →Collaborate with various teams to provide data products that measure impact and find new opportunities
- →Work with data engineers to build our new Lake House in Databricks and document vital data context
- →Provide leadership in using product analytics tools like Amplitude
- →Be a key voice in making data-driven decisions in our software development lifecycle
- →Increase impact by continuously learning and evolving workflows as AI technology matures
- →Enable stakeholders to have a bigger impact through AI in their analytics workflows
Requirements
- ✓Strong knowledge of SQL (preferably Databricks, Snowflake, or Redshift)
- ✓Experience with data quality best practices and building data models in dbt
- ✓Experience using Python (numpy, pandas, sklearn, etc.) for exploratory data analysis or predictive modeling
- ✓Proven ability to influence and ship with product and engineering teams in a B2B SaaS environment
- ✓Proven ability to influence product and engineering leaders with data-driven insights
- ✓Strong perspective on using the appropriate data solution for the business need
- ✓Strong perspective on scaling product analytics solutions across a company
- ✓Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- ✓Growth mindset and flexibility to adapt to changing technology and workflows
