About the Role
We are looking for a talented Solutions Consultant to join our Ecosystem team at Flexport. In this role you will bridge the gap between Sales, Account Management, Global Operations, Solutions Engineers and Product Teams to ensure the successful deployment, ongoing utilization and stability of the integrations you deliver.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the end-to-end delivery for all integrations required to help onboard Flexport's largest and most complex customers
- →Drive functional requirements gathering and define integration requirements to meet client needs
- →Be the subject matter expert on freight forwarding scenarios that impact customer integrations
- →Build deep understanding of Flexport's tech capabilities as they relate to integrations
- →Lead projects accommodating various integration technologies including flat files, EDI X12, EDIFACT, REST and SOAP APIs
- →Work closely with Product and Integration Engineers to ensure clear requirements for technical builds
- →Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, and Global Operations teams to review and update SOPs
- →Facilitate User Acceptance Testing across internal and external users
- →Partner with Account Executives to support integration-related requests during pre-sales
Requirements
- ✓5+ years software or technology experience in Solutions Consultant / Architect or similar role
- ✓Familiarity with APIs, transmission protocols (FTP, SFTP, AS2) and payload/file formats (JSON, EDI, XML, delimited files)
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proactive, results-oriented mindset
- ✓Ownership mindset to drive improvements across teams
- ✓Experience working with cross-functional teams and providing project leadership
- ✓Bachelor's degree in technical field or relevant work experience
- ✓Willingness to travel up to 25%
