About the Role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team at Flock Safety. This role involves exploring and analyzing data, creating data models, and using advanced analytical techniques to build predictive tools that drive critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

→Explore and analyze data to identify patterns and insights
→Create data models and use advanced analytical techniques
→Build and deploy predictive and prescriptive tools
→Communicate findings to business partners and stakeholders
→Develop new data science projects from the ground up
→Build, test, and enhance models
→Implement automated monitoring and testing for models

Requirements

✓BS/MS in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field
✓3+ years proven experience as a data/decision scientist or AI/ML engineer
✓Strong experience using Python and its core AI/ML/OR packages
✓Strong SQL and data processing skills
✓Experience developing data models, with exposure to dbt a plus
✓Experience building predictive, simulation, or optimization models
✓Experience in data visualization tools like Sigma or Tableau
✓Exposure to cloud infrastructure platforms and deployment patterns
✓Ability to communicate with business partners and drive solutions to complex problems
