About the Role
We are looking for a creative, user-obsessed, and results-oriented product designer to join our team and play an integral role in shaping the development of our upcoming connected Master Lock, Yale & August B2B products. This engaging and challenging opportunity focuses on building smart security products that people love.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive elegant user experiences that span digital (mobile, web) and physical (devices) interfaces
- →Own design independently across multiple product areas throughout the entire product lifecycle
- →Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions
- →Collaborate closely with software and hardware product managers, engineers, and stakeholders
- →Advocate for changes and improvements to the user experience
- →Work across the entire design stack from problem definition to high-fidelity visuals
- →Facilitate and lead workshops with cross-functional teams
- →Plan, lead, and synthesize insights from user research
- →Maintain comprehensive documentation of user experiences
- →Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create unified user experiences
- →Mentor and support junior and mid-level designers
Requirements
- ✓Full range of skills in UX design, design thinking, interaction design, prototyping, and visual design
- ✓Experience with connected home technologies and smart security products
- ✓Ability to work independently across multiple product areas
- ✓Strong data analysis skills to inform design decisions
- ✓Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- ✓Experience with user research and testing activities
- ✓Knowledge of design practices and standards
- ✓Mentoring experience with junior and mid-level designers
