About the Role
A clothing designer reviews commercial performance of products and enhances continuity products or develops new products to meet customer needs and drive commercial outcomes for Frasers Group. Working on brands such as Karrimor, Gelert and SoulCal, they research market trends and adapt existing products or design new ones.
Key Responsibilities
- →Research, analyse and develop current products commercially but innovatively
- →Create, develop and design new ranges for the relevant brand
- →Create and maintain brand consistency across all product groups
- →Deliver innovative apparel designs that are functional, commercial and relevant to the brand
- →Liaise with senior designers, factories and suppliers to ensure clear communication
- →Support and assist junior designers on their development and training
Requirements
- ✓Experience in clothing design and product development
- ✓Strong understanding of market trends and commercial performance
- ✓Ability to balance following trends with product's commercial performance
- ✓Knowledge of brands such as Karrimor, Gelert and SoulCal
- ✓Experience working with factories and suppliers
