ABOUT FRESHPAINT: Customer data is the fuel that drives all modern businesses. From product analytics, to marketing, to support, to advertising, advanced data analysis in the warehouse, and even sales – customer data is the raw material for each function at a modern business. For highly regulated businesses in healthcare, it’s always been a challenge to harness that customer data and get it to the marketing and analytics tools that require it while following patient privacy laws….until now. Something as simple as running ads to get more users is simple for an e-commerce of software company to do. But common web analytics and advertising tools collect sensitive user identifiers and healthcare information automatically. Those same tools are not HIPAA compliant. We provide a layer of data governance to make current web analytics tools HIPAA-compliant. For analytics, our customers can continue getting the insights they need to improve the patient experience. For marketing, Freshpaint safeguards health information while helping our customers promote access to care through popular advertising platforms like Facebook, Google, and others. In short, we help healthcare marketers promote access to care and safeguard patient privacy at the same time. This is an important, complex problem in a massive market (healthcare is 20% of the US GDP). Our customers manage their customer data with: 1. Privacy Platform. We help healthcare providers automate their website’s + app’s HIPAA compliance, and safeguard patient data. This is our core product today 2. Future additional product lines! Our core product provides a platform that we're building marketing applications on top of. We’re fully remote. If you strongly value in-person work, Freshpaint is likely not the best fit for you. Even though we don’t care where you’re located, we only hire within the US. Many of our team is concentrated in various metro areas like SF or NYC. To balance out our remote-ness, we gather the team 2x times per year for offsites. ABOUT THE ROLE Freshpaint 3.0 is transforming how healthcare marketers drive results. Your mission is to build and maintain the platform that enables customers to connect, monitor, and match the "spider web" of system integrations that hold a diverse set of revenue events (appointments, fulfillment, billing, and clinical outcomes). This product manager will ensure that these highest value complex data sources are unified with leverage and architectural elegance, that they are captured and stored securely, while being made available to other internal Freshpaint teams to build the functionality that leverages that data to fuel insights, recommendations, and actions that improve marketing / advertising outcomes. WHAT YOU’LL DO - RESPONSIBILITIES • As a product manager at freshpaint, you’ll work with a dedicated engineering team to dig into tough problems that represent big opportunities to add value to healthcare providers, payers, and other industry participants. •Your initial job will be to architect and maintain an ecosystem of the right integrations with EHRs, appointment booking platforms, and billing systems to enable those entities with a privacy and compliance first data platform that helps them drive more effective, data-driven advertising and marketing campaigns. You’ll also identify and explore new potential data source integrations that will further fuel that Freshpaint advertising and marketing performance engine. • Platform Orchestration: Ensure that as our data integration network expands, we manage reconciliation and alignment through scalable platform logic rather than brute-force manual labor. • Cross-Team Synergy: Partner with the Identity Team to resolve user journeys, the Ad Platform Team to align top-of-funnel signals, and the Insights Team to power the recommendations that drive ROI. • AI-Native Execution: Leverage AI tooling as a core part of your daily workflow to increase productivity, accelerate documentation, and automate complex data mapping challenges. WHAT YOU’LL BRING - REQUIREMENTS • Experience: This isn’t your first rodeo. You have 5+ years of experience as a product manager where you successfully coordinated discovery and execution to build and deliver products and capabilities to a market or customer base that ultimately met performance expectations. • Independent Operator: No one needs to tell you what to do. You are intrinsically motivated and self-starting, with the natural bias towards action. • Deeply Curious: You’re intellectually curious and deeply empathetic, which drives you to seek deep understanding of the multiple viewpoints and perspectives of the many different stakeholders impacted by any of the product decisions your team makes. • Integrations Architect: You have a platform-oriented view and experience managing complex, disparate data sources at scale and can think at a systems level for how those multiple components can fit together in ways to make 1+1=3. • Data driven: You always find a way to measure what you build, and you ensure that your systems and processes ensure the review of those metrics and use them to fuel your decisions about where to spend your time and resources. • Outcomes Driven: You think in terms of outcomes and know how to drive toward them, both for your business as well as your customers'. You not only do this for yourself, but also for your team, helping everyone stay focused on and grounded by what matters most. • Problem Solver: You view each new challenge or problem as an opportunity to further differentiate the thing you’re building.
