About the Role
We are seeking a Director of FP&A to join our R&D Finance team, partnering with Product and Engineering organizations. This strategic role will report to the VP of Finance and focus on cloud economics and financial planning in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Serve as a trusted finance partner to Product and Engineering leadership, supporting strategic planning
- →Lead cloud financial management and optimization initiatives with Engineering teams
- →Build forecasts, budgets, and financial models for R&D and cloud spend
- →Lead vendor and spend management, including purchase orders, renewals, and negotiations
- →Prepare month-end close packages and executive reporting
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a cloud environment
- ✓Strong understanding of cloud economics and optimization strategies
- ✓Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
- ✓Ability to influence decisions through data-backed insights
- ✓Experience with AWS Cost Explorer, Google Cloud Billing, or similar tools
- ✓Leadership experience in managing financial initiatives
