About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Front, an AI-powered customer service platform. This role requires independent operation and full ownership of technical components and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

→Take full ownership of significant components or services, driving them from design to production with minimal direction
→Be a go-to expert in one area of the codebase while maintaining awareness of system-wide architecture
→Apply technical expertise and domain knowledge to solve complex problems
→Plan and execute major assignments or multiple concurrent projects
→Serve as a technical contact on cross-functional projects
→Mentor and uplift the team through code reviews and technical leadership

Requirements

✓Advanced expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience building scalable backend services with Node.js
✓Strong proficiency with frontend frameworks such as React
✓Experience with scalable cloud infrastructure and AWS services
✓Familiarity with RESTful APIs, modern database systems, and distributed system challenges
✓Ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs between performance, reliability, and speed of delivery
✓Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional partners
✓Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide others technically
✓Experience with GraphQL, API integrations, or server-side rendering frameworks
