About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Applied AI to build production-grade, multimodal systems that convert broadcast and radio feeds into structured, real-time signals and event candidates. This role focuses on implementing and evolving "agentic" components that power products like Audio Intelligence and semi-automated broadcast-to-data tagging.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and maintain multimodal agents including audio sensor agents and visual sensor agents
- →Implement streaming-friendly pipelines with chunking, normalization, and robust retry/backoff
- →Develop prompt-as-code with JSON contracts and schema validation
- →Improve system robustness under noisy inputs with fallback behaviors and guardrails
- →Partner with product and platform leads to integrate outputs into downstream consumers
- →Contribute to evaluation workflow by adding test cases and failure mode categories
- →Stay up-to-date with emerging Gen AI technologies
- →Mentor and support other team members in data engineering
Requirements
- ✓5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- ✓Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Rust
- ✓Hands-on experience with LLM or multimodal model integration
- ✓Experience with streaming data platforms like Kafka, Pulsar, or Flink
- ✓Experience with AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex AI
- ✓Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- ✓Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- ✓Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ✓Strong communication skills
