About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Security Engineer Intern to join our team. You will work with our teams to protect our systems and help launch a brand-new Threat Modeling Program from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

→Help build a threat modeling program to identify and fix security vulnerabilities
→Assist with Governance, Risk Management, and Audit processes
→Learn to secure both cloud-based and on-premise systems
→Use critical thinking to find root causes of network issues or security holes
→Write automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell
→Test for vulnerabilities in a safe lab environment

Requirements

✓Meet Nevada-based criteria: either 2 years of hands-on experience in networking, security, or computer science while enrolled in a Nevada institution, or at least 2 years of college/trade school in Nevada
✓Self-starter attitude with a history of hitting goals
✓Basic knowledge of networking and scripting
✓Hands-on experience with labs, simulators, or cybersecurity platforms
✓Teamwork experience in sports, clubs, or leadership roles
