About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join Giga, a voice AI startup that has raised $61M Series A and works with clients like DoorDash. This role involves building infrastructure and systems that power AI agents, working across the stack from data pipelines to real-time agent systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Migrate analytics service to ClickHouse and rebuild it to scale
- →Improve detection systems to drive hallucination rates toward zero
- →Scale, stabilize, and add features to the browser use agent
- →Make sound technical decisions and set the bar for code quality
- →Have significant autonomy and influence over what gets built
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of experience building backend systems
- ✓Comfort with ambiguity and loosely-defined problems
- ✓Ability to jump into unfamiliar parts of the codebase
- ✓Strong coding skills with attention to detail
- ✓Experience with AI agents and production infrastructure
