About the Role

We are looking for a QA Lead to own quality across our AI agent platform and run a distributed testing team. This hands-on role will define what "ready to ship" looks like, build test strategies and processes from the ground up, and ensure quality as the team scales.

Key Responsibilities

→Define test plans, acceptance criteria, and coverage matrices for new features across voice, chat, and email AI agents
→Test agent conversations for accuracy, tone, hallucinations, and edge cases
→Own the QA gate for releases, coordinate test cycles, manage regression suites, and sign off on production readiness
→Run a distributed QA team across SF and offshore locations
→Classify, prioritize, and document defects for efficient engineering fixes
→Build QA processes, workflows, and documentation to scale testing

Requirements

✓7+ years of QA or quality assurance experience with a track record of leading test efforts for complex products
✓Experience managing or leading distributed QA teams across time zones
✓Strong test planning skills with the ability to identify edge cases
✓Experience testing conversational AI, voice systems, chatbots, or non-deterministic products
✓Excellent communication skills with detailed bug reports and thorough test plans
✓Ability to push back on engineering when necessary while understanding when something is "good enough"
✓Comfortable building the QA function from scratch
✓Excitement about AI and quality assurance for innovative products
