About the Role
We are looking for a Strategic Solutions Engineer – Central to join Glean, an AI-powered knowledge management platform. This role involves partnering with Strategic Account Executives to design, demo, and prove the value of our Work AI platform for customers across the Central region.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with Strategic Account Executives to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles with C-level and VP-level executives
- →Create and demo custom environments tailored to customer industry, region, and line of business
- →Run and manage technical POC cycles end-to-end, including success criteria definition, setup, execution, and readouts
- →Perform customer-facing activities including technical discovery calls, architecture reviews, and solution design sessions
- →Lead security and compliance conversations to make customers comfortable with Glean’s security posture
- →Work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to deliver customer requests
- →Develop ROI and business justification reports and presentations
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of sales engineering or solution consulting experience in a SaaS organization
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of executive-facing presentations
- ✓Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting
- ✓Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- ✓Clear examples of partnering with AEs to run technical deal cycles with Enterprise or Strategic customers
- ✓A consultative approach to solving business challenges
- ✓Familiarity with at least one major cloud environment (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- ✓Proficiency in Python or Java
- ✓Ability to configure, monitor, and maintain API-based integrations
