About the Role
We are looking for an English-fluent QA Engineer to join GoFasti, a Talent-as-a-Service company that connects developers and designers from Latin America with companies worldwide. This is a remote position based in Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build, maintain, and expand automated test suites (UI, API, and integration) using tools like Playwright.
- →Develop reusable test components, fixtures, and helpers to make automation writing more efficient.
- →Integrate and monitor automated tests within our CI/CD pipelines, investigating and resolving flaky tests.
- →Pair closely with developers during the design and implementation phases to identify testability and coverage gaps early.
- →Perform targeted exploratory testing and root-cause analysis on complex bugs when automation isn't the immediate answer.
- →Review peer test code and advocate for engineering best practices in our quality repositories.
- →Participate actively in release reviews, sharing context on test coverage and technical Risk.
Requirements
- ✓2–5 years of experience in software engineering or QA engineering, with a strong focus on writing and maintaining test automation.
- ✓Proficiency in writing test scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript (experience with Node.js and React is a major plus).
- ✓Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- ✓Familiarity with CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS pipelines) and version control (Git).
