About the Role
We are looking for an AI-focused software engineer to join our team at HighLevel. This role involves working with backend fundamentals and delivering LLM-enabled applications. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and iterating on LangGraph workflows that support structured requirement capture and tool orchestration.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, implement, and iterate on LangGraph workflows
- →Build reusable workflow components and standard patterns
- →Implement robust tool execution patterns and ensure safe, deterministic structured outputs
- →Partner with Business Analysts and org leaders to clarify goals and translate requirements
- →Build and maintain agent-callable services/APIs for Snowflake retrieval and operational actions
- →Establish evaluation and observability for agent workflows
- →Contribute to our in-house transcription application through agent adjustments and infrastructure improvements
- →Improve reliability of transcription pipelines through queue/worker architectures
- →Implement and iterate on rubric-based call scoring
- →Implement streaming considerations and ensure clean handoffs between capture, transcription, and scoring stages
- →Deliver scoped components and workflows with guidance from senior engineers
Requirements
- ✓3–6 years of software engineering experience (backend/services preferred)
- ✓LangGraph experience is required
- ✓Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
- ✓Experience building production services in a compiled, runtime-stable language
- ✓Strong SQL skills; comfort working with warehouse-backed applications
- ✓Practical experience shipping LLM applications
- ✓Production engineering fundamentals
- ✓Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills
- ✓Botpress or similar agent builders
- ✓Streaming systems exposure
- ✓Audio fundamentals and experience with transcription providers
- ✓Serverless/event-driven architectures
- ✓Experience contributing to production systems and growing ownership over time
