About the Role
We are looking for a Director of Legal Operations to join our team at HighLevel, an AI-powered sales and marketing platform. This role focuses on designing and running a scalable Legal operating model that makes the team faster and more efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and refine the legal department's operational strategy
- →Assist with organizational design and capacity planning across the Legal team
- →Design frictionless processes to remove obstacles and accelerate the team
- →Define and drive the legal department's AI and technology roadmap
- →Partner with engineering to build bespoke solutions for legal analytics
- →Develop dashboards and metrics for the VP of Legal
- →Build and maintain operational playbooks and SOPs
- →Manage third-party subpoenas and information requests
- →Own the administrative infrastructure for HighLevel's IP portfolio
- →Manage a team of legal operations specialists
Requirements
- ✓12+ years in legal operations with a track record of building or scaling legal ops functions
- ✓Experience leading AI, automation, or data-driven transformation initiatives
- ✓Experience managing discovery processes, including third-party subpoenas
- ✓Deep experience with legal technology platforms
- ✓Strong technical fluency to collaborate directly with engineers
- ✓Experience with legal department budgeting and outside counsel management
- ✓Philosophy of building lean, frictionless processes
- ✓Experience managing and developing a legal operations team
