About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team at Motive. This role involves designing components and services for new feature developments, implementing scalable architecture, and contributing to robust projects that will help grow Motive’s customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build responsive, accessible, and performant frontend experiences
- →Work full stack to design and integrate APIs and deliver dependable user experiences
- →Instrument features with telemetry and analytics
- →Collaborate with ML and device teams to bring edge detections and rich media to the platform
- →Improve UI reliability, error handling, and observability
- →Contribute to engineering excellence through code reviews, documentation, and test coverage
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development with a strong frontend focus
- ✓Proficiency with a modern JavaScript framework like React, Angular, or Vue
- ✓Backend experience with Ruby on Rails, Go, Python, or Node.js
- ✓Strong grounding in web performance, accessibility, responsive design, and state management
- ✓Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile collaboration
- ✓Ability to write secure, maintainable, and testable code and to own features end to end
