About the Role
We are looking for a meticulous SDET who will be responsible for the design and implementation of automated tests and test environments for the Motive products. This role is critical to ensuring technology functions efficiently and effectively, minimizing errors and helping to meet software quality goals.
Key Responsibilities
- →Monitor automation metrics for continuous quality & process improvements.
- →Collaborate with various teams at Motive to understand automation needs.
- →Lead programmatic best practices by example, be a hands-on programmer and tech guru.
- →Estimate efforts, identify risks, devise mitigation, and meet project’s automation schedules.
- →Contribute/Maintain test automation framework development.
Requirements
- ✓4-7 years of strong experience in developing test automation for Backend and Dashboard.
- ✓Expert level knowledge in one or more programming languages - Java, Python, etc.
- ✓Experience in industry best practices in SW development processes: Unit testing, code coverage, OO design, code quality, automation, code reviews.
- ✓Proven ownership and delivery of automation for a sizable product or product component.
- ✓Experience working with large codebases, writing entirely new code and maintaining existing code.
- ✓Ability to work with cross-functional teams, prioritize automation requirements, and deliver in a timely fashion.
- ✓Knowledge in CI/CD Environment.
- ✓Experience in working with CI/CD tools.
- ✓Proficient in Git, Bitbucket, or Version control tool.
- ✓Working knowledge of SQL, AWS, Database System.
