About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled engineer to drive the automation of our cloud infrastructure management and developer tooling. This role is crucial for scaling our operations and optimizing developer efficiency through sophisticated tooling and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- →Engineer automation for cloud infrastructure and platform operations, leveraging tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC technologies
- →Build self-service tooling and streamline workflows to accelerate the development lifecycle for the Grab developer community
- →Design, implement, and maintain high-quality Golden AMIs and container images for Grab's massive engineering fleet
- →Ensure all platform development and operations adhere to security best practices, guardrails, and compliance standards
- →Deliver scalable technical solutions that enhance the efficiency and stability of the organization's cloud presence
Requirements
- ✓Ownership of both personal projects and team products
- ✓Experience with one or more cloud environments (AWS or other cloud providers)
- ✓Experience as a DevOps or DevSecOps practitioner with production services in cloud environments
- ✓Experience with build and deploy tooling (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins, Docker)
- ✓Experience with automation for infrastructure and configuration deployment/management tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
- ✓Proficiency in Linux system administration and command-line tools
- ✓Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies
- ✓Experience with microservice architectures
- ✓Experience with container orchestration platforms (K8S, EKS, ECS or similar)
- ✓Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
