About the Role
The Integrity team at Grab acts as guardians for all users, focusing on fraud, risk, digital identity, and safety. The data science team builds AI solutions to solve these challenges. We're seeking a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Computer Vision and Multimodal LLMs post-training to develop advanced models for OCR, KYC verification, and document/image information extraction.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build at Massive Scale: Design, train, and fine-tune state-of-the-art models, including OCR and Vision LLMs, to analyse and extract information from complex documents.
- →Architect and Own End-to-End Solutions: Architect, design, and own document processing pipelines for identity verification and other critical business challenges.
- →Productionize and Optimize: Deploy models into high-throughput production environment, implement monitoring, and iterate to improve performance.
- →Drive Innovation: Research and prototype with latest AI advancements, translating academic research into product impact.
- →Influence Through Clarity: Articulate technical concepts and findings to stakeholders in product, policy, and operations.
Requirements
- ✓Specialization in Computer Vision and Multimodal LLMs post-training
- ✓Experience in designing, training, and fine-tuning state-of-the-art models
- ✓Ability to architect end-to-end solutions for document processing
- ✓Experience with production deployment and optimization
- ✓Strong research and prototyping skills in AI
