About the Role
We are looking for an Automation Software Engineer to join our R&D department at Harmattan AI. This role involves designing and developing software for automated testing and inspection platforms that support both product development and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, implement, and maintain automated test and inspection software using Python
- →Build tools for real-time data collection, visualization, and analysis
- →Interface with sensors, cameras, motion controllers, and other hardware components
- →Work with mechanical and electrical engineers to design and integrate physical test fixtures
- →Partner with product development, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver automation solutions
Requirements
- ✓MSc in Software, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field
- ✓Top-level Python programming skills with experience in automation frameworks
- ✓Experience developing automated test systems or manufacturing automation tools
- ✓Familiarity with version control (Git) and structured software development practices
- ✓Comfortable with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Onshape or similar)
- ✓Ability to perform soldering, wiring, and small-scale electrical circuit work
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities
