About the Role
We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to join KinaTrax, a leader in markerless motion capture technology for sports teams. This role involves creating innovative data solutions and enhancing client experiences with our products, focusing on computer vision, biomechanics, and advanced statistical techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- →Implement computer vision techniques to refine existing models and create novel models for new data sources.
- →Contribute to the development of biomechanics algorithms for new sports platforms.
- →Develop tools to enhance data quality for both internal systems and client interfaces.
- →Demonstrate independence and innovation when addressing challenges in various sports contexts.
- →Stay informed of the latest developments in the computer vision field.
- →Assist with cross-functional tasks, including data processing engineering and technical operations.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Biomechanics, Computer Science, or related field, with at least two years’ experience.
- ✓Proficiency in Python and C++, with strong object-oriented programming skills.
- ✓Experience building and training deep learning models using PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
- ✓Proficient with OpenCV and version control tools such as Git.
- ✓Experience with at least two of the following: camera calibration, optical flow, SLAM, multi-object tracking, human pose tracking, structure from motion, semantic segmentation.
- ✓Familiarity with cloud storage and computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, Cloudflare, or Dropbox.
- ✓Proven teamwork skills, preferably within a product development environment.
- ✓Genuine passion for sports and athlete performance analytics.
