About the Role
Helion is seeking an Integration Engineer to lead cross-subsystem integration and test activities for fusion generator prototypes. This hands-on role involves broad technical scope and responsibility through build and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the integration sequence and day-to-day execution of assembly across generator subsystems
- →Develop and manage a multidisciplinary schedule to ensure full build completion
- →Define, plan, and execute integrated subsystem tests
- →Lead build completion reviews to verify operational readiness
- →Collaborate with production, test, and engineering teams to improve integration processes
- →Author work instructions for technician teams
- →Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions
- →Drive strategies for hardware upgrades and integration improvements
- →Perform trade studies on build sequencing and resource allocation
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- ✓3+ years of professional experience delivering engineering projects
- ✓Demonstrated use of engineering first-principles and structured problem-solving
- ✓Hands-on experience across multiple engineering disciplines
- ✓Effective technical communication skills
