About the Role
We are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join HelloFresh's HelloTech organization in Warsaw. This role involves working with the Payments Offering team to design, build, and maintain core payment systems that power every transaction across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- →Contribute to the design, development, deployment, and operations of payment systems and integrations
- →Actively participate as a collaborative member within autonomous, cross-functional agile teams
- →Develop a solid understanding of HelloFresh's payment infrastructure and architecture
- →Work with modern technologies such as AWS Cloud, Go/Kotlin, Kafka, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL
Requirements
- ✓Solid backend development skills in a microservices architecture
- ✓Proficiency in one of the following languages: Golang, Java, or Kotlin
- ✓Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, particularly Docker and Kubernetes
- ✓Familiarity with software design and testing methodologies
- ✓Experience across the development lifecycle from writing unit tests to deploying applications in production environments
- ✓Proficiency in working with relational databases and experience with event-driven systems
