About the Role
Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Business Data Analyst to investigate and resolve data quality issues, implement robust data quality processes and procedures, and extract actionable insights that improve operations and optimise resources.
Key Responsibilities
- →Investigate and analyse data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification.
- →Execute data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis.
- →Design and build data pipelines to automate data movement and processing.
- →Apply advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems.
- →Document data quality findings and provide recommendations for improvement.
- →Advise and influence decision-making and contribute to policy development to improve operational effectiveness.
- →Collaborate closely with other functions and business divisions to support data initiatives.
- →Lead complex assignments and guide team members through structured analytical tasks.
- →Consult on complex issues and provide guidance to support resolution of escalated data concerns.
- →Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies and procedures in support of governance and controls.
- →Take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls related to data processes.
- →Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple internal and external sources to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- →Communicate complex or sensitive information clearly to varied audiences.
- →Influence stakeholders to achieve data-related outcomes and improvements.
