About the Role
Neon One is seeking a Product Designer to shape design at scale from user feedback and product data. This role offers a rare opportunity to help reimagine and unify a complex SaaS platform used by nonprofits, donors, volunteers, and supporters to power social good.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own complex, end-to-end design problems with support from cross-functional partners
- →Help shape product strategy by bringing design perspective into early conversations
- →Navigate ambiguity through exploration, iteration, and collaboration
- →Design intuitive flows, hierarchies, and layouts that support real user tasks
- →Design accessible and responsive user interfaces across web and mobile experiences
- →Apply strong visual, interaction, and motion design principles to improve engagement
- →Maintain and evolve Neon One’s Figma design system and libraries
- →Plan and run user research and usability testing
- →Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders
- →Clearly communicate design decisions through thoughtful storytelling
- →Partner with engineering during build and QA to ensure design intent
- →Design AI-powered experiences that feel useful and trustworthy
- →Invest in shared learning to elevate design quality
- →Improve how the design team works by contributing to better processes
Requirements
- ✓Experience owning complex, end-to-end product experiences in SaaS or web apps
- ✓Portfolio showcasing thoughtful product design, interaction design, and accessible UI
- ✓Strong foundation in hierarchy, typography, information architecture, and data visualization
- ✓Proficient in Figma with design systems, prototyping, and collaboration
- ✓Familiar with WCAG and ADA accessibility design standards
- ✓Experienced in UX research including planning, conducting, and applying insights
- ✓Understands front-end constraints enough to design feasible solutions
- ✓Able to advocate for users and collaborate across teams
- ✓Excellent communicator, able to explain design decisions to stakeholders
- ✓Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving outcomes with cross-functional partners
- ✓Able to work remotely and across time zones
