About the Role
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join Hitachi Digital Services as part of our first line of defense. This role involves monitoring, identifying, and responding to security events in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and other security monitoring tools.
- →Perform initial triage and categorization of incidents (L1).
- →Escalate events to senior analysts as needed.
- →Create and manage incident tickets with detailed documentation.
- →Communicate clearly with end users and internal teams during security events.
- →Follow defined incident response procedures and playbooks.
- →Update shift leads and SOC managers regularly on key events and status.
- →Monitor threat intelligence feeds and stay informed on emerging threats.
- →Support observability tools and contribute to improvements in visibility.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- ✓Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and network fundamentals.
- ✓Familiarity with security tools like SIEMs, firewalls, antivirus, etc. (college or lab experience acceptable).
- ✓Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- ✓Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adapt in a team setting.
- ✓Ability to work in shifts as part of a 24/7 SOC rotation.
- ✓Must be a US Citizen.
