About the Role
We are looking for a Product Developer with a strategic mindset and passion for product to join our Basic Jersey team at H&M Womenswear. This role focuses on shaping the H&M Women Basic Jersey assortment and driving both short- and long-term plans for the category.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define and drive short- and long-term plans for the jersey category
- →Identify seasonal keys and respond quickly to emerging trends
- →Refine product and component work to build a competitive jersey offer
- →Take ideas from concept to final product, coordinating across teams
- →Collaborate with Product Manager, Planner, Designer, Pattern Maker, and production team
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience as Product Developer or Buyer
- ✓Extensive experience in jersey is highly meritorious
- ✓Education in Textiles, Buying, Fashion, or Product Development
- ✓Proven track record in creating products for the womenswear customer
- ✓Keen eye for current fashion trends with strong fashion intelligence
- ✓Deep passion for products and product development
- ✓Driven, structured, and proactive in taking initiatives
- ✓Salesmanship and results-oriented
- ✓Excellent communication skills
- ✓Strong team player with a flexible attitude
- ✓Ability to identify opportunities, improvements, and efficient solutions
